Direct-bonded magnesia chrome bricks are made from high-purity magnesia or fused magnesia with low impurity content and high-quality chrome ore as the main raw materials, which are shaped under high pressure and fired at a high temperature above 1700 ℃. The products have better performance under high temperature, and the direct-bonded magnesia-chromium spinel phase has a stronger ability to resist the erosion of metallurgical furnace slag.
